Chesnut Pailing This is classic and a very traditional locally produced fence. Chestnut

pales are arranged and bound together with wire. A range of heights

from 3ft, 4ft, 5ft & 6ft with different spaces between the pales are

Hit & Miss A fence that combines some of the best qualities of closeboard and palisade fences. The vertical boards present a sturdy fence and by leaving spaces

between the boards it allows the wind to pass between the boards without

exerting too much pressure on the fence structure.

Oak Post & Chestnut / Oak rail fencing

Cleft chestnut post and rail, sometimes known as Sussex fencing, it

comprises of attractive cleft (split) chestnut rails and in this case oak posts.

Closeboard variation Closeboard is our most popular domestic fence. We have recently carried out 70 meters of close board fencing that was stained black to reduce the visual impact.

Lap panels Lap panels were originally made with larch, more recently they have been made using treated softwoods. You can have dipped, or pressure treated panels. Pressure treated cost more as the life expectancy is greater.

Machinery We use several pieces of machinery in order to provide an efficient, cost effective fencing solution. Pictured here is our Kanga 620d a powerful utility machine with several different tool attachments. Pictured here is the post hole auger for installing post and rail fencing.
